Sacramento— The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has added yet another feature to its growing list of Internet services. In an effort to assist DMV customers who may have reading/learning difficulties, or English is their second language, the California Driver’s Handbook 2008 is now available in MP3 audio format, in English or Spanish.
Customers may listen to the handbook directly from a personal computer or the audio files may be downloaded from their personal computers to an IPOD or other MP3 players. These audio lessons are designed as a complement to the printed hand book. Customers are encouraged to follow along with the printed handbook since the driving diagrams are a very important aspect when learning road signs, and the rules of the road.

Hrm, for some reason the DMV site was missing those files when I checked, so I sent them a message to fix it.
